Project Background

Traditional 3D modeling methods are mainly implemented by single point measurement (total station, GPS, etc.) or aerial photogrammetry. However, the two methods of building geometric models have a large workload and high precision. They cannot quickly acquire 3D spatial data and accurately build models, and the latter is not suitable for data collection in small areas. The 3D laser scanning technology quickly acquires a large number of 3D point cloud coordinates and texture color information on the surface of the object through non-contact measurement, which is a fast, accurate and efficient way to acquire 3D spatial information. According to the 3D point cloud, you can quickly restore 3D scenes and build 3D models.
